Wetherspoons Chooses Quiligotti Terrazzo

Quiligotti was pleased to supply a range of Terrazzo floor tiles for The Cribbar Public House in Newquay, the latest addition to the portfolio of J.D Wetherspoons properties. Designers selected Terrazzo for its unique surface, unlimited spectrum of colour and pattern as well as its excellent reputation for long life cycles and low maintenance. An unusual and striking effect was created with contrasting shades of standard Terrazzo for the flooring in The Cribbar's contemporary bar and restaurant areas.

Quiligotti Terrazzo is an ideal choice for public houses, bars and restaurants. A more hygienic option, Terrazzo is easily maintained when correctly installed due to its smooth, flush joints which prevents the inevitable spillages from sitting in recessed joints typically found in other types of hard floor finish. The Terrazzo surface also helps avoid the possibility of trips arising as a result of lipping tiles as well as greatly simplifying the cleaning and maintenance regime.

Terrazzo tiles can be supplied in an almost infinite variety of shapes, sizes and colours with either straight or curved cuts or a combination of both. Varying levels of finish can be achieved from honed to polished and bespoke designs with logos and decorative graphics are possible with water jet cutting and patterns.
